Allergic to peanuts? Eat peanuts!?

Hey LAtSA Food readers! You should all check out this article called Can Peanut Allergies Be Cured by ... Eating Peanuts? It is about how if someone is allergic to peanuts, they can eat small amounts of peanuts. Then increase the amount of peanuts being eaten as their tolerance increases. This process could possibly cure peanut allergies!

    This is nice for people with peanut allergies. Seems like it would work for people with most kinds of allergies

    This is very interesting. A good topic for a research paper. Hmmmmm. But I wonder if it really cures allergies. I would love for the author of this blog to post an update about this theory/experiment/research project.
